Before Christmas I decided I wanted to treat myself to some stuff from my Wishlist, and some stuff I just randomly stumbled upon that looked awesome. The most expensive thing was the sweater, and the rest combined cost less than that. Here’s what I got, and my thoughts on them. The currencies can be quite different from each other, I’m just listing what they cost at this point when I’m writing this.
Skyrim ‘Ugly’ Christmas Sweater – I love the game, and I’ve been looking for more merch for it for ages, so I was really happy to find this. It’s a very cozy sweater and I wear it as often as I can, even though it’s not Christmas anymore. $49.99
Two linen fabric pillow cases – One with moons and stars and one Harry Potter inspired. They’re not the best material, but what would you expect for the price? At least they didn’t bleed or transfer when washing them so that is a plus. $3.59 per piece.
Blue Lucite Brooch and a Wolf Brooch – They’re both super sturdy and easy to wear. I use the Blue Lucite the most just to add a pop of color to my outfits since they are mostly all black. C$4.89 for the Blue Lucite and $1.49 for the wolf.
A fake ear cuff – I love this one because I’ve had piercings in both of my ears but I’ve never been able to keep them because my body rejects pretty much any kind of metal. That’s why I love these fake ear cuffs so I can pretend my ears are still pierced. AU$1.
Victorian inspired choker – I love this one. It looks so elegant and nice and I would definitely pair this with a black dress or a dressy top. $1.78
Black Lace Bracelet – I mostly purchased this to check the quality and it’s actually not that bad. Everything is made pretty sturdy and it has been holding together so far. AU$1.98
Black Velvet Choker – This one was quite flimsy. I had to re-glue it because they had just put a tiny dollop of glue where it wraps around the ring, but it was fairly easy to fix anyways. AU$1
Pearl Headband Jewelry – This one was a fluke. It looked nothing like the listing, and it came broken with pearls spilling everywhere. I gave a negative feedback and the seller tried to bribe me into leaving a positive review instead by refunding 50p. No thanks. £1.24
Dark Forest Tapestry – This is one of those where you get what you pay for. It looks nice, but the fabric is so sheer so I would recommend hanging this on a darker wall for it to look nicer. I wanted to cover something up but it shines through. It makes my reading nook look cozy though. AU$7.94
So yeah, that was my semi-successful eBay haul! Have you purchased anything exciting from eBay lately?
