What is it?
When I was buying a new winter coat at H&M a little while ago, I noticed they had a whole display stand of Korean and non-Korean sheet masks and all of that, and that’s where I found this. I thought the packaging was really cute and stood out from the rest so that is how I decided on which to try first. I also feel like I always could need some de-puffing and soothing pads underneath my eyes because they pretty much always feel tired.
Based on the little picture in the bottom left corner I thought the pads would be kinda iridescent looking but they were more flesh colored with small brown specks in them. I guess this was to show off the ginger used in it, maybe? They are barely even visible in the picture below, it’s mostly the shine that gives them away. Not sure what that means, my skin is either very yellow, or they were more transparent than I thought.
How does it work?
The instructions said to leave them on for 20-30 minutes. I left mine on for about 25 minutes, opting not to do the full 30 minutes because they were starting to sting slightly at that point. Whenever I try eye patches they tend to give me a slight head ache for some reason, and that happened with these too. I removed them after 25 minutes, then gently massaged the remaining serum into my skin. It didn’t really provide any visible results, but my under eye area felt moisturized and was not irritated. I was scared it would irritate the area since it started stinging but I guess my skin was just done with them.
I was a bit disappointed to not see any de-puffing at all but at least I got some moisture out of it, something that is much needed at this time of the year. I’m not sure if I would buy these exact ones again since they didn’t do too much for me, but I would be curious to try other products from OhK! just to see what they are about. It was my first time trying out the brand today and I didn’t get the worst start, it was just a tiny bit lackluster.
Have you tried these before? Or anything else from the OhK! brand?
