What is it?

The Steve Laurant Precision Tip Eyeliner is a liquid felt tip eye liner that comes in a really pretty rose gold packaging. This eyeliner was a gift from my sister who had received it in a Glossybox. She doesn’t use eyeliners so I’m glad she gave it to me because it’s a really good one. I haven’t had too much experience with felt tip liners, but after the failure that was the L’Oreal Superliner, I was ready to find an actual good one.

The picture above was taken about ten minutes after I put it on, and you can see that it’s not a matte black. It’s very shiny and it layers on top of the skin so you can definitely feel that it’s there, but it does look pretty so I don’t mind. It’s a very intense black, at least at first application. I was able to do a somewhat sharp flick because the tip is very firm and sturdy, but it’s not uncomfortable to use in any way. I feel in some cases liners can feel a bit sharp but that was not the case with this one at all. The black glided on smoothly and it was super easy to use. I didn’t notice it drying out while applying the liner either and that is a very big plus!

How did it go?

The picture above was taken at the end of the day. This is after roughly 14 hours of wear. I applied it around 8 am and washed it off around 10 pm. You can see that the black has faded quite a bit, it’s more of a charcoal or dark grey at this point but it has still retained a little bit of its shine so it’s not too bad. The sharp flick has become more rounded, likely from me roughly rubbing my eye a bit earlier but not much else has happened to it. It has not faded any differently during other times that I have worn it so it has quickly become my favorite liquid liner.

I would recommend this if you enjoy liquid liners that look shiny. If you want a matte liner, this one won’t be for you, it’s way too shiny to try to play it off as something else.

Have you tried this liner before? Or heard of the brand? It was definitely a first for me, but I am glad I was gifted this.

Wow it seems like it wore quite well (at least for being worn for 14 hours haha). I also like that you mentioned its not uncomfortable to apply with-I’m always scared of using eyeliner for that reasonπŸ˜‚ xoxoxo

I need this is my life. I love eyeliners that last long time. And 14 hours is more than enough. Also applying it is not a problem so I am heading to the shops πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚

I use a felt liner too, but only as a “pattern” to redraw with a regular one on top of it, because it’s a really bad one πŸ˜… I’m happy to see that some actually work !

I’m dreadful at applying eye liner, but this one is so pretty and seemingly user-friendly, I would definitely give it a try!

Ooh, I’ve never used a shiny finish eyeliner before but I do love my felt tips. It looks pretty good to me considering that you had it on for 14 hours AND rubbed your eyes! x
