Make up & Skincare

L’Oreal Pure Clay Illuminating Cleansing Gel

This is a clay gel cleanser and it works really well! It shares a lot of properties with it’s clay mask sibling and I love it. It always works so well for me. You can read my review of it by clicking here.

ELF Lip Exfoliator

This is basically just a lip scrub in lipstick form. It’s very convenient and easy to use and it always leaves my lips feeling soft and refreshed. You can read my review on it by clicking here.

Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in “Galactic Mauve”.

This is my all time ever favorite lipstick. The color is perfect, it’s not too flashy nor too dull and it works for every occasion. I use it as often as I can and I wouldn’t trade it for anything ( I think). You can read my full review on it by clicking here.

IsaDora Hypo Allergenic Mascara in “Black”

This is an allergy friendly mascara that works fairly well in keeping my lashes looking good. I have tried other non allergy friendly mascaras that work a lot better but they also irritate my eyes so I’d rather feel comfortable while wearing it instead. You can read my review of this by clicking here.

The Lunar Chronicles series

These books are written by Marissa Meyer and are all about the android Cinder and her journey through life. We meet lots of interesting characters and there is a lot of conflict, and even romance! I was introduced to the series by Michala and I instantly fell in love with it. I don’t think I have ever read four books as fast as I read these. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves young adult fiction.

The Icewall trilogy

This is a trilogy set in the Dragonlance universe and it’s written by Douglas Niles. We follow the stories of Kerrick the Elf, Moreen the Arktos woman and Grimwar Bane, the ogre king. The first two books are really good, and while the last lacks a bit of the spark the first two has, it’s still pretty solid.

Dragon Age: Asunder

This novel is my favorite out of the five Dragon Age novels that I have read, with The Masked Empire in a close second spot. In this one we get more backstory on one of my absolute favorite characters from the universe; Cole. He has always been a mystery and it feels so.. satisfying to finally know more? Yeah, it does. It’s a good read for anyone who is a fan of the video game series and wants to know more of the lore.

Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley is a farming/life simulator of sorts, heavily inspired by Harvest Moon and maybe games like Rune Factory. You inherit a farm, have to grow crops and collect items to restore the community center, or sell out to Joja Corp and buy everything instead. There’s relationships, a sense of accomplishment and it’s a game that is very easy to get addicted to.

The elder scrolls V: Skyrim

Ah, then there’s this, a game where I have invested thousands of hours into the original. I made the mistake of noticing I hadn’t played the special edition too much on pc so I didn’t have any of the achievements.. Which meant that now I definitely have to get them… I love skyrim, I’m just not ready to lose my life to it again. It’s an amazing adventure role playing game and I would recommend it to anyone, well, anyone who is interested at least. I don’t really know what to say about it, I have talked about Skyrim a lot before in the game section of my blog.

The elder scrolls online

The Elder Scrolls Online, also known as ESO, is an online multiplayer roleplaying game published by Zenimax and Bethesda, and it is in the Elder Scrolls universe. The gameplay takes place in many locations used in earlier games which gives the player a sense of belonging, a sense of recognition. Areas might look a bit different since it is set in a different era but you can still recognize things here and there. I wrote a post about it and the Morrowind expansion a while ago, you can read the whole thing here. It’s a great game, and pretty much never ending.

Fallout Shelter

header (3)

Fallout Shelter is a mobile game and it’s like a vault simulator. You run a vault, you build rooms, train vault dwellers, go on quests and craft items. You’re the overseer and everyone does your bidding. You also control the population by attracting dwellers, mating them or kicking them out/strategically get them killed. You can also craft themes for certain rooms to make your vault more personalized. They also change themes automatically during Christmas and other holidays.

What have you loved this year? Also, Happy New Year! I hope 2018 will be an amazing year for you.

Stardew Valley is such a commitment 😂 I gave up after about three days

I love RPGs and have always wanted to try Skyrim, The scenery looks beautiful! The amount of time I have to invest in a game is something I have to think about. If I had to choose between reality and fantasy–I’d love to be in a fantasy world, but I have to be realistic. 🙂 Happy New Year to you!

Skyrim is definitely an investment! I’ve put in so many thousands of hours and I don’t feel like I’m finished yet. So it’s definitely something to think about before starting the game. However if you “only” play the main storylines its around a hundred hours or so. Happy New Year to you too 🙂

    Happy New Year! 😀
I’ve heard good thing about that ELF Lip Exfoliator. A long time ago I had one from The Body Shop but I didn’t care for it – there wasn’t enough grit. I’ll have to look for the ELF one to try.

Happy new year to you too, although a bit late hehe. The ELF one is definitely worth a try, I think it costs like 4 or 5 dollars so it’s very cheap x

this was a nice surprise for me. I popped to visit reading makeup and then WHAM my favorite – books! I enjoy fantasy so taking notes.

Great rundown – I like some of the elf primers and eyeshadows so will give this wee scrub a try. Winter has made my lips a wee bit rough so this will hopefully help! X

I have been used the Pure Clay Wash too, and I love it! It makes me face feel so smooth and clean afterwards!

Skyrim is also one of my ultimate faves! I don’t know how many hours I spent playing it, but in the end I couldn’t even find side quests anymore 😀 It was probably a good thing that my brother upgraded his PS3 to a PS4 because it stopped me from drowning in this virtual reality, so… I feel you 😀 S. xx

LOVE the Lunar Chronicles! Have you read anything from the Red Queen series? They remind me a lot of each other 🙂

I must check out stardew valley. I used to love the likes of FarmVille.
