Five songs for the gym

This post is a response to one of the topics in Lisa‘s “endless blog challenge“. She posts new topics/prompts every week for you to take inspiration from, I’ll definitely recommend checking her posts out if you’re in need of something to blog about.

For this week, one of the topics was “five songs for the gym”. I’m horribly boring when I work out and I listen to video game soundtracks, or songs from animes. Here’s my top five favorites to work out to, I suppose! I usually just pick songs that are upbeat and put me in a good mood, or songs that are good to warm up to.

  1. I don’t want to set the world on fire – From fallout 3.
  2. The lost temple – From Dragon Age: Inquisition
  3. Counter Attack Mankind – From Attack on Titan
  4. Book of circus – From Black Butler
  5. The fields of Ard Skellig – From The Witcher 3

What do you listen to when you go to the gym?

I mainly listen to music when I run so any song that’s go the right beat for my pace. Off my ipod I’ve got:
    MGMT – Kids
Florrie – Call of the Wild
Foster the People – Don’t Stop
Kings Of Leon – Sex on Fire
Young the Giant – My Body

I haven’t tried any of these!! Will have to though πŸ™‚
Rage against the machine gets me going hahahaha!!

Interesting picks! What sort of workout do you?

The third track, aw, I’d like them to include that at one of the classes at my gym. Makes me think of that one class we had where we did a plank to the GoT intro.

I mostly do work outs targeting my core and my legs, mostly weight lifting and lunges and squats and whatnot.. really depends on what my PT says too!

The third one gets me really pumped up, i love kind of battle songs so i could imagine the got soundtrack being fun to work out to!
