anatomicals face masks – don’t mask your horribleness unmask your heavenliness
♥ Pose, Pose, Pose. For The Close Up Pose. Nothing Beats Rose. Botanical Hydrating Rose Face Mask.
Come into the Garden, Maud. it’s mother nature’s beauty parlor. let our hydrating mask with balancing rose flower extract leave your skin flawless and radiant, with not a hint of dryness, flakiness, green fly or mildew. close up, we’ll turn you into a pruning (shouldn’t that be preening?) picture of perfection.
Rose is an ingredient often used in skin care and this product claims that it will moisturize your skin. When i first opened the package i was surprised by the scent, but not really in a good way. It doesn’t have that typical rose scent to me, it was more like the scent of the soap that was in the bathrooms in my old High School. It definitely could have been worse though, since soaps generally smell okay.
These sheet masks come in a foil packet as masks usually do, and the sheet has a plastic liner that you need to remove before or while applying it onto your face. I noticed that the sheet was a bit on the larger side and some of it covered a bit of my hair, which was annoying. I also noticed that the eye holes are a bit narrow so i could feel my eyelashes brush against the lower edge every time i blinked.
I left the mask on for 20 minutes as instructed and i did feel a slight stinging sensation while keeping it on (In hindsight it might have just been because it really made my skin feel cold). My skin is very sensitive and i have had reactions to a rose water toner before so that could very well be why. My skin felt soft and moisturized though so the mask did what it was supposed to, at least!

♥ Off With Their (Black And White) Head. Botanical Purifying Tea Tree Face Mask.
As revolutions go, this isn’t perhaps quite up there with the French revolution or any other mayor political upheaval. but then ‘spotlessness, beauticiousness, radiance’ was never going to rival ‘libertie, egalite, fraternitie’ as a saying. no matter, in it’s own small way, this tea tree fask for problem skin is changing beauty history. citizens, join La Republique du Ravishing
I really, really love products that contain tea tree, and I have tried numerous masks and other products over the years. I have however not found anything that could ever beat the Tea Tree Toner Water from Lush. Following it’s name, this mask claims to purify the skin and eliminate any black or white heads that you might have. My skin is generally really clean so I don’t get any acne but I do have some blackheads showing ever so often.
Like the other mask, this one also comes in a foil packet and is wrapped around a plastic liner. I noticed with this one, when you pulled it out of the packet there was a lot of serum left in it so i poured it out and applied it to my neck and patted it onto the sheet mask once i had put it on to give it even more moisture. The eye holes on this mask was a bit narrow too, i really hope they will alter their sheets a bit in the future so that they could fit better.
I left this mask on for 25 minutes because i lost track of time, and while i had it on it kind of felt like it was eating my skin a bit, which is weird since it doesn’t contain any exfoliating acids. But i suppose it was just the tea tree doing it’s work. My skin felt nice after removing the mask and massaging in the remaining serum but it did leave a slight film on the skin that i noticed a couple of hours later, not sure why that happened.
