This nose pack is like most others, designed to remove/treat blackheads and tighten the pores on your nose. It contains volcanic clay from Jeju, and island in South Korea, and it can be used wherever you need it on your face. The patch comes completely dry on the little plastic sheet, and you have to dab it wet either before you place it on your face or while you hold it in place, or you can make sure that your nose is really wet.
You’re supposed to keep it on your face for at least 15 minutes, until its completely dry, then you have to peel it off. I found this to be a bit rough on my skin, and it didn’t remove any blackheads, not that i noticed. It did however make my skin a bit softer and more clear so it was not a complete waste of time. They do recommend to apply toner after you remove it to cleanse your skin a bit, which i did.
I have tried better patches, but this is definitely not the worst. It has a gentle lavender smell to help you relax and the patch is big enough to cover most of your nose, as you can see in my picture.
There are a lot of negative reviews on the product’s web page, innisfreeworld.com, most of them about the skin starting to peel and that the ‘glue’ part of the patch is too thin. I can see how this could be a problem, but in my case, none of those were a problem. I guess i got lucky!
- The gentle lavender smell
- It is big enough to fit most people generously
- It dried up to become a little too hard
- It takes quite a bit of water to make it stick properly.
