Metro 2035 – An interview with Dmitry Glukhovsky

I got a very friendly email from the people over at with a link for an interview they did with Dmitry Glukhovsky, the author of Metro 2033, Metro 2034 and now, Metro 2035. The interview gives a look into the creators mind and he talks about the metro universe and how it relates to ‘the real world’. I really do not want to spoil too much of what he talks about, it is better to experience it and listen yourself.

The interview itself is in German, but if you click into the settings of the video, you can auto translate it to English since the German text is very accurately written. There is a few minor grammatical and spelling errors for the English text but it is understandable. It is also something to notice that the interview itself is happening in a bunker in Hamburg, beneath the main station.

I enjoyed it a lot and i hope you will too!
I would also recommend checking out the website for the Metro series to keep up with any updates.
